All hail the King, the Transcendent descended upon us all.
The one and only benevolent king of Synestia, the dearest father of Meliora's.
His physical features were mostly inherited to her. From his white locks, until his sapphire orbs.
Not only his ageless physical traits, some of her traits were also inherited from him. They had the same nature of being a philanthropic leader, for both their family and their kingdom.
Lavon, usually called papa by the other family members, was known as a loving father. He'd be the one to initiate a family gathering, which he held every night. Whether it was just to talk together, drink tea together, or play some games.
Unlike any other stereotypical king out there, he was rather a soft one. One could say that his wife was more dominant than himself, hence making him the subtle kind of king.
Instead of contributing to the battle field during wars, he had his role mainly within the EXPERiTH's main laboratory.
Nevertheless, don't make him mad or he'd end your life in an instant.
With regret, it had to be said that he couldn't do that during that day.
Since he forbid any kind of weapons within the throne room, when he and his family spent their night playing hide and seek in it, he became powerless to protect his family from the unprecedented tragedy. Hence, the doleful annihilation of House Veradisia.
Leaving only Meliora and Calanthe to continue the legacy of the mighty House.

Bow down to the Holy Queen, or else.
The one who broke the stereotypical queen, the one who had the dominance upon the reign of House Veradisia.
Holy Queen of Synestia, Meliora's one and only mother.
It's pretty obvious how her physical features were inherited more to the youngest princess, Meliora's only sister. Despite of that, most of the personality of the Holy Queen's were passed down to the first princess instead. They both had the same cordial smile, the same way to break the ice in a conversation, the same analytical mind, and even the same fashionable sense.
The figure usually called mama by the other family members were known as a strict and obstinate figure. Rules within the House were mostly made by her, though the husband also had his own role with it. Tough she may be, it didn't mean she wasn't a loving mother towards her family.
More than everything, she cherished them the most.
It became her drive to contribute for the wars by dedicating her time and soul within the battle field. Indeed, physical battles were her forte, unlike her husband who chosen the path of knowledge and science.
Different paths it may be, yet their goal was still the same, nevertheless.
All mighty she may be, yet deplorably, her might couldn't be put to use during that day.
Due to her own husband's rule within the throne room, it disabled her to be armed at all times. Alas, as the opposing empire gave a surprise attack during that joyful night, the Holy Queen couldn't bare her might to protect her family who only wanted to play hide and seek together. Devastated, of course.
Yet, even in after life, she with the rest of the slain House of Veradisia believed of one absolute truth.
That the deadly duo of the House of Veradisia shall continue their bequest.

A lost mice inside her own maze, with different heart fire set ablaze.
The first from the triplets, the second princess of the mighty House. Being different than the others molded her as the distinctive type of royalty.
Unlike Meliora, Blaise is not your typical princess who devote her life for her royal fulfillment as a Veradisia. Instead of putting her love for battle or science, harp stole her heart instead. Her dream of becoming a full-time harpist must be forsaken, since it was deemed not enough to fulfill her role as royalty. With her little preference for battle, did she choose combat as her path as a Veradisia.
Her taste didn't only hamper her ambition, it also became hindrance upon her weapon selection. Her delicate preference urged her to pick rapier, the type of weapon which was considered the weakest of them all. As frail and different as she was, it didn't mean she was casted out by her family.
Blaise's love for music was what connected her with Meliora the most. The two fell in love in music through harp, the two strengthened their bond through harp.
No matter how strong their bond was, it was severed during that day. With their bond severed, so did Blaise's life.

It's easy being superior, she knew that well.
The second from the triplets, the third princess of the mighty House. Her might may be the biggest of all Veradisia, for she demanded to be the most superior.
Just like the Holy Queen, they both shared the love for battle. The one thing that differed the two were their taste of weapon. With the love of being superior, Aurorette chose broadsword as her weapon. The hardest one to master, the one she considered as the most superior.
Even so, she still had a significant gap to close before she could declare her superiority against Meliora.
Indeed, the two were most known as the most competitive princesses. With their rivalry relationship, their dynamic was rather the one which kept EXFOTiA's barracks alive. As tight as their rivalry, so was their sisterhood.
The two had the same love for sweets, specifically pastries. With Aurorette's exceptional skill in baking, they both never forgot to keep some time to bake together.
Sadly enough, the two forgot to bake together for the last time before that day took Aurorette's life.

With each passing day, the princess finds new and exciting ways to kill.
The third from the triplets, the fourth princess of the mighty House. With curiosity like no other, it became her own charm as the most adventurous royalty.
Following the Holy Queen's footsteps, Sylvia inclined towards the path of war to fulfill her role as a Veradisia. With javelin as her weapon of choice, her way to satisfy her hunger for battle was rather unique. Instead of honing the techniques she was taught, her interest was attached towards exploring new combat styles. Sylvia found a way to do this via fighting monsters.
Her attachment towards battle styles attached Meliora to her. During training hours, the first princess had the tendency to choose to venture out with the fourth. Since Sylvia had a sharp instinct and curiosity in experimenting new combat styles, it expanded Meliora's knowledge for battle.
Nevertheless, not expanded enough to prevent that day from taking Sylvia away from her life.

If he could prevent war's horror with his brain only, then he would bear any shame proudly.
The first from the twins, the only prince of Veradisia. The fifth heir of the mighty House, the most intelligent of them all.
Unlike the elder siblings, Arsenios chose the path of science as his devotion of being a Veradisia. Just like The Transcendent, science allured his heart like no other. Distinctive of her active sisters, he was the only royalty who preferred not moving too much. That much, to the extent he chose the weapon which required minimum movements of the body; crossbow. The only prince had no other choice, since all member of the mighty House must acquire mastery of at least one weapon for self defense. A shame it was, at first.
As time went by, he honed his high intelligent to bear the shame of being not that competent in combat.
For him, combat was only an acquirement as a Veradisia. Science was the dearest matter for him. Most of his time was spent within the EXPERiTH's laboratory, carving his path as noble scientist, just like his beloved father.
Aside from science, he was also fond of flowers. That one strong linkage between him and Meliora. The two were the only ones between the siblings to have affectionate love for flowers, for the beauty nor the language. Hence, their tendency to spend some time together at the flower gardens.
Until his petals of life withered during that day.
Small bud she may be, mesmerizing she will be.
The second from the twins, the only family member left for Meliora, her youngest little sister, the fifth princess of Synestia, Calanthe Octavia von Veradisia. Their physical features are quite distinctive, remembering that the small one inherited most of the late queen's features. On the other hand, the empress had the late king's genes as the dominant ones.
Nevertheless, they're sisters by blood.
Unlike Meliora, Calanthe isn't that fond of fighting. The youngest princess taken the path of that a noble scientist, taking over the main laboratory after her eldest sister claimed the throne of queen of Synestia.
Plus, she's very fond of mythical creatures, especially unicorns. This fondness of hers driven her to have an interest in experiments about mythical creatures. The curiosity upon the unknown beings through science, the red string which bonded her with Meliora. The two shared the same love of legendary living beings, with the same desire to bring them to life through science.

It's not easy being this popular, you know.
Since typically every person has their own childhood friend, Aziel seems to fit that role the most for Meliora. Both came from royal Houses, hence Aziel's knowledge of Meliora's true identity as a Veradisia. Ever since their first encounter in the EXFOTiA barracks in Myrph City, Aziel was seen stuck with her, no matter where she went. Not because of admiration, nor attraction. But hatred.
Born as the sole son of House Drakos bounded him into the fate of being a noble, since House Drakos is the royal House responsible for military affairs of Synestia. In a way, he's House Drakos's heir to sit the seat of Synestia's Senate. With it, his designated obligation to forever be Veradisia's subordinate. Knowing how Veradisia was destined to be forever superior than the others, Aziel grown certain hatred upon them. The hatred of knowing his pure hard work would always be beaten by the blessings of the Goddesses, as if his hard work would never be a blessing enough. Especially when he must hear how his parents compare him to Meliora, every, single, day. Having his efforts mostly in vain created his carefree mask, as if he had no responsibilities as a noble.
Despite having similar abilities enhancements like House Veradisia, the lower royal Houses like his would never be as equal as the ruling house. This, one of the many sources of his loathing towards Veradisia. Even so, his bloodline as Drakos was still considered precious, remembering how each royal Houses gain some access to Veradisia's source of superiority.
Along with his abhorrence towards Veradisia, came expectations for him to be always perfect towards the others―especially the women who glanced at him only because of his bloodline and good looks. This caused his excellence in flirting with women, even grown to liking how women fall for his charms only to be broken later. His disgust of how women approach him only because of his bloodline and looks blossomed his distaste of women, only liking them as mere entertainment.
Since only House Veradisia who has the defense mechanism of secreting their identities as nobles, he must bear the consequences of being widely known as a noble. Jealousy towards Meliora blossomed as he knew how she didn't have to face such expectations and burdens in public, unlike him. All of the intricate blend of his life created him as charming, dashing, playful, cunning, nonchalant, and cynical.
Only towards Meliora, did he progressively lower his guard and resentment. Since his detestation towards Meliora's bloodline never bothered her, he slowly learned Meliora as Meliora, not as a Veradisia. Thus, him becoming her most trusted companion, despite their bumpy start.
Even with power, we cannot change what has passed.
One of the notable figure she had in her life back then, the one and only Fai.
With their first encounter at Aphra kingdom, did she found a figure who genuinely loved her singing. Every time the little Meliora finished her singing lessons, she'd spare some time to show her rapid progress to her first loyal listener. Having Dido's Lament as his favorite aria for her to sing, it became the most frequent aria that she sang for him.
And so did it become the last aria she sang for him, for it became their bittersweet song of farewell.
The tables turned due to the revelation of a harsh truth. The true identity of Fai, the true destiny of the two.
As he turned out to be the head of Alovetta, as he was turned out to be her sworn enemy for all those times. With her role as Synestia's commander, with her role as a Veradisia, did she must fulfill her part.
Putting his life to end, putting her people's misery to the end.
The past can bind a man as surely as irons.
The only figure she met on Earth who dared to perturb her forsaken reminiscence, one which would always initiate her annoyance. Her hatred towards music became the magnet for this certain lad to continually encroach her.
Astra was the known name of him. To the very least, how Meliora knew him.
Exasperation aside, she bears no vengeance upon his acts. For deep down, her love for music is crying for desperate request of resurgence. Through their bizarre bond, did the hope for the return of her music within her appear. As she can slowly feel the shackles within her conscience weaken, as she can slowly sense how he actually helped her heal.
It'll be a matter of time until she discovered yet another harsh truth.
